The Commanders have been a relatively high-scoring team in the past two weeks, with kicker Austin Seibert putting in work.

My best betAustin Seibert Over 6.5 kicking points (-115 at BetMGM)
My analysis
Betting on kickers may not be the most exciting thing in the world, but Washington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert has been strong through two games with the team.

Bayern Munich want to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan before the transfer window shuts on Monday and have held talks with Chelsea about a deal for the 19-year-old winger.
The Bundesliga champions tried to buy Hudson-Odoi before the youngster committed his future to Chelsea last year, signing a deal worth £120,000 a week, and have maintained their interest in the player. Bayern would like to bolster their options in the wide positions, even though they have already signed Leroy Sané to compete with Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman.

The women’s game is, undoubtedly, having a “moment”. The European Championship has caught the imagination of football fans and the wider public.
The performances of the England team have led back pages, with the Lionesses playing to primetime TV audiences and packed stadiums full of passionate fans. The comeback win against Spain was pure football drama, capped by a winning goal from Georgia Stanway that would grace any game.

Even more of the players are becoming household names. That interest will only intensify if Sarina Wiegman’s team lift the trophy in front of their home fans. All of this will, undoubtedly, create a bounce…
Celtic could yet retain the Scottish Premiership. Any assertion that they will not – hardly wild on the basis of evidence available from the table or umpteen matches – seems to have irked Brendan Rodgers. Not that it takes much to irritate the Celtic manager; his sour tone has been an intriguing, constant feature of this second spell in Glasgow. One has been left to ponder why he bothered cutting short a planned sabbatical from the game to return to Celtic last summer.
Celtic trail Rangers by two points and six goals with 11 league games remaining. In other leagues, this would be no cause for firm opinion but the weakness of Scotland’s top flight means Rodgers cannot rely on other teams nicking points from Rangers. The Ibrox side have …

Despite the attempt to kill it from Europe’s leading clubs last spring (and UEFA’s eventual success in doing so in the coming years), the Champions League returns today in its usual form. While it has become the nexus point in all that’s wrong with soccer and has certainly widened the gap between the haves and have-nots, there probably still isn’t a higher level of the sport than this, and that includes the European Championships and World Cups. It’s why the best players end up in the most exclusive cabal of clubs. To play and win “Ol’ Big Ears.” Winning the Champions League still gives a club a unique aura. Only 22 teams in all of Europe have done so in its 65-year history. For comparison’s sake, 20 teams have won a Super Bowl from a decidedly smaller pool of 32 teams…
This post, written by Josh Burt, is republished with permission from The Spoiler. Go there often if you like soccer stuff. After the small furor thanks to an intriguingly timed episode of Panorama, and then yesterday's hot photos of Britain's Next Male Model finalists — Prince William, Davids Beckham and Cameron — boarding an Easyjet to Zurich, there's now the small matter of the actual World Cup vote. But how the bloody hell does this work? If you're in the dark, allow The Spoiler to bring you into the light after the jump… A mob of England campaigners will be out in Zurich, putting in an impressive 110 per cent to ensure that their voices are heard above the cries from Russia, Spain/Portugal, and Holland/Belgium. Some will hold private talks with FIFA membe…
The Cincinnati Enquirer is reporting that the Reds will host baseball's All-Star Game in 2015, the first time since Riverfront Stadium hosted in 1988. Bud Selig will officially announce it on Wednesday, but it's a done deal—after seven years of lobbying by the team. It used to be, you build a new ballpark, you get an All-Star Game. But the stadium boom has outpaced the calendar, and the Great American Ball Park will have been open for 12 years by 2015. The 2013 and 2014 games will be held at Citi Field and Target Field, respectively. [ Enquirer] …
American icon Nick Diaz is back, as an 18-month suspension the Nevada State Athletic Commission laid on him for possibly having smoked weed before a fight with Anderson Silva ended today. Is he still Nick Diaz, the guy who once mugged Mayhem Miller on broadcast TV as an appalled Gus Johnson shouted? Well, here’s what he had to say to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto about the top of the UFC welterweight and middleweight divisions: Taking a step back and seeing and having a look at these guys who have done things in, amazing things in their careers but still they haven’t, you know they haven’t, they have’t done the things that I, they haven’t fought the best guys like I’ve fought, I’ve beat guys that have beat these guys that have beat the guys that these guys have beat. And here’…
