Sheffield United are interested in signing Joe Worrall from Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest in the final days of the January transfer window, according to . The report has claimed that the Blades are on the hunt for a new central defender, and that the Yorkshire club have registered interest in Worrall.
Worrall has been on the books of Forest since 2011 and has come through the club’s youth system to establish himself in the first team. The 27-year-old centre-back has been out of the squad for several months now and does not seem to have a future at the City Ground. Worrall has made 37 appearances in the Premier League in his career. He has scored one goal and kept six clean sheets in those games.
